Consent for marriage was obtained by fraud and therefore marriage declared null and void - Karnataka High Court

Family Courts Act, 1984 Section 19(1) Indian Divorce Act, 1869 Section 18 Declaration of petitioner's marriage with the respondent, as null and void - Dismissal of petition - Non disclosure of illness and age of respondent - Respondent was suffering from Fatty infiltration of liver, Left renal Hydronephrosis, Microcytic Hypochromic Anemia - Age is 41 years instead of 36 years - Plea of husband that his consent for marriage was obtained by fraud and therefore marriage declared null and void - Wife in her cross examination admitted that her age was 41 at time of marriage but her actual age was 36 - Marriage declared null and void. (Karnataka High Court)
