CJI recommended 9 Judges name for Permanent Judges of Allahabad High Court.

The Supreme Court Collegium headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud has recommended the names of nine additional judges of the Allahabad High Court to the Centre for appointment as permanent Judges of that High Court in the following terms:

(i) Shri Justice Syed Qamar Hasan Rizvi

(ii) Shri Justice Manish Kumar Nigam

(iii) Shri Justice Anish Kumar Gupta

(iv) Ms. Justice Nand Prabha Shukla

(v) Shri Justice Kshitij Shailendra

(vi) Shri Justice Vinod Diwakar

(vii) Shri Justice Prashant Kumar

(viii) Shri Justice Manjive Shukla &

(ix) Shri Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal

On 28 May 2024, the Collegium of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad unanimously recommended the Additional Judges whose names are set out above for appointment as permanent Judges of that High Court. The Chief Minister and the Governor of the State of Uttar Pradesh have concurred with the recommendation.

तीजोत्सव

रविवार देर शाम भारत विकास परिषद नव उदय शाखा चंदौसी के तत्वाधान में "तीजोत्सव कार्यक्रम' बड़ी धूमधाम से बहजोई रोड स्तिथ रेस्टोरेंट में आयोजित किया गया।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ दीप प्रज्वलन एवं मां सरस्वतीजी एवं स्वामी विवेकानंद जी की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण एवं वन्देमातरम गायन के साथ हुआ। कु. अनन्या गुप्ता द्वारा नृत्य की  प्रस्तुत दी गयी। श्रीमती नीतू अग्रवाल एवं श्रीमती प्रतिमा गोस्वामी द्वारा हाउजी एवं वन मिनट गेम सदस्यों के मध्य खिलाया गया जिसे सदस्यों ने बहुत उत्साह के साथ प्रतिभाग किया।

बेस्ट कपल गेम एवं सरप्राइज गेम आदि भी कराये गये। इसके अतिरिक्त नृत्य एवं गायन के कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किये गये।

कार्यक्रम के अंत में समय बद्धता पुरस्कार, हाउजी, सरप्राइज गेम, बेस्ट कपल गेम, लकी ड्रा में विजेताओं को पुरुस्कृत किया गया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता श्री प्रभाष चंद्र चौधरी एवं संचालन श्रीमती सुनीता शर्मा द्वारा किया गया।

राष्ट्रगान के उपरांत रात्रि सहभोज करके कार्यक्रम का समापन किया गया।

तीजोत्सव कार्यक्रम में प्रांतीय संयोजक संस्कार अतुल शंकर चौधरी, प्रांतीय सह संयोजक  पराग बंसल मुख्य अतिथि रहे। सौरभ गुप्ता, विकास गोयल,रविंद्र अरोरा, नितिन गुप्ता, विष्णु शर्मा एडवोकेट, निधि गोयल, वैशाली गुप्ता, अर्चना शर्मा, नीलिमा गुप्ता, प्रीती कश्यप, नीरु वार्ष्णेय, मोहित गोयल,  दीपक गुप्ता एडवोकेट , पंकज शर्मा, मनीष गर्ग, मोनिका शर्मा, अंकुर अग्रवाल , मधुर वार्ष्णेय , अल्पा गोयल, अजय शर्मा, दीपिका सक्सेना  , आशुतोष गुप्ता, अंकुर गोयल,श्री अशोक अग्रवाल,श्री नितिन गुप्ता, श्री विवेक भारद्वाज आदि लोग उपस्थित रहे।

The Collector (Stamp) cannot recall and/or review his own order- Allahabad High Court.

Stamp Act, 1899, Section 47A - Deficiency in stamp duty - Recall of order - Power of Collector - The Collector (Stamp) cannot recall and/or review his own order - No such power has been conferred under Section 47A of the Act - A quasi-judicial authority is limited in its functionality in as much as it has to act within the four corners of the statute from which it derives its authority - If the statute does not provide for a particular act, the same cannot be undertaken by that authority - Any such action taken de hors the legislative intent would amount to an overreach and beyond the power of the said authority.
